Jai-Ho a slogan for victor and triumph was realised at the Oscars for A.R. Rahman and the entire Slumdog Millionaire team. A.R.Rahman, made a sweeping victory at the Oscars with two Oscars. Rahman won the  Academy Awards for best original score and song for the film Slumdog Millionaire. He has made India proud becoming one of the four Indians to have won an Oscar. The movie and the stars ruled the red carpet winning eight awards. A story of optimism and hope of a Mumbai underdog, who becomes a millionaire winning a reality show; it had been in the news since its Golden Globe victory. In fact even Barack Obama has been reported to be keen on seeing this film.Its philanthropic message to never give up and keep believing is what we all can relate to and need today. As quoted by the genius music director “ All through my life I had the choice of love and hate…I chose love and I am here.” Congratulations to the entire team for giving us such a master piece- Jai Ho!! |
